Water Damage/ Mitigation/ Emergency Services Technicians are responsible for responding to all activities of the emergency services department and assisting homeowners during a time of need. Qualified candidates have prior experience handling water, fire, smoke and natural disaster insurance claims in the restoration industry. This candidate will have knowledge and experience with water extraction, water and fire damage cleanup and structural drying processes as well as a strong work ethic and a positive attitude!
Overall Responsibilities:

Provide assistance for emergency property damages
Keep open lines of communication with customers and management
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe job site
Able to use a smartphone for recording time sheets, taking and sending pictures, reviewing work orders, etc
Ability to read and follow instructions
Responsible for quality and efficiency
Job Qualifications:
Three (3) years’ or more experience with some or all of the following:
Performing water extraction and mold remediation
Setting drying equipment
Board ups, demolition or removal of damaged structural materials and cleanup
IICRC Certifications Preferred
Experience in the water and fire restoration industry
Consistently walk, stand, climb, kneel, lift and carry 50lbs or more on a daily basis
Have a team spirit, positive attitude, excellent customer services skills & great attention to detail!
After hours/on-call on a rotational basis
Provide own hand tools (i.e., hammer, pry bar, screw driver, tape measure, etc.)
Work Environment:
Generally, work is performed at various job sites as well as in the warehouse. Activities which occur inside and outside are subject to:
Weather and temperature changes
Noise
Hazards such as; water, smoke, soot, moving vehicles, proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, high places, high heat and exposure to chemicals
