The Content & Cleaning Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of contents restoration and cleaning services following fire, water, mold, or other types of damage. This role ensures jobs are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards, managing teams, coordinating logistics, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients, adjusters, and internal stakeholders.
Essential functions:
Project Management & Execution
Plan, organize, and manage contents restoration projects from initial assessment through pack-out, cleaning, storage, and pack-back.
Schedule labor, equipment, and cleaning resources for each job.
Ensure adherence to company SOPs, IICRC standards, and insurance carrier requirements.
Perform on-site inspections and quality control during all project phases.
Client & Carrier Communication
Serve as the main contact for clients, providing updates and resolving concerns.
Communicate regularly with insurance adjusters and third-party administrators (TPAs) to ensure alignment on scope and documentation.
Explain restoration processes clearly and compassionately to homeowners in distress.
Team Leadership & Coordination
Supervise and motivate content technicians and cleaning crews.
Train new hires and support ongoing skills development.
Maintain a culture of safety, accountability, and performance.
Documentation & Reporting
Utilize restoration software (e.g., Encircle, iCAT, DASH) to document contents inventory, cleaning methods, before/after condition, and non-restorable items.
Ensure proper photo documentation and maintain clear, complete project records.
Prepare estimates or coordinate with estimators for contents cleaning scopes.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in restoration, with at least 1 year focused on contents or cleaning project management.
IICRC certifications (WRT, FSRT, OCT) strongly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service orientation.
Proficient with industry software (DASH, Encircle, Xactimate for contents preferred).
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in challenging environments (e.g., post-disaster sites).
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Minimum travel outside the immediate operating area may be required
